BiographyGeorge Charles Frace, 78, of Sycamore Lane, West Penn Township, New Ringgold, PA died on Friday, July 30, 2010 at home. He was the wife of Margaret "Peggy" (nee Schaefer) Frace. Born in Coaldale, PA on January 31, 1932, George was a son of the late Charles Henry and Edith (nee Scheitrum) Frace. A 1949 graduate of Tamaqua High School, he was a Master Sergeant in Co. C, 3rd Battalion, 103rd Armor, Pennsylvania National Guard, Hometown, PA. Retired from Air Products, Trexlertown, PA where he was employed as a sales manager, he had previously been employed by the Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds, PA. George was a member of Zion Stone Church, West Penn and also the Little Schuylkill Lions Club. Surviving him are his wife, Peggy; son, Charles W. Frace and his wife, Beth of Boca Raton, Florida; daughters, Deborah K. Kunkel and her husband, Gary of Andreas, PA and Suzanne R. Purvis and her husband, Robert of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Grandchildren, Kristen, Charles, Jr., Erin, Liz, Colby, and Caitlin; and great grandchildren, Cadence, Cason, and Karley. He was predecesed by a half brother, Charles Frace'. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in Zion Stone Church, West Penn Township, 45 Cemetery Road, New Ringgold, PA with The Rev. Michael A. Frost officiating.
