John E. Yasembousky, 86, of Mary D, PA and formerly of Yardley, PA, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Kazuko (nee Kawagoe) Yasembousky to whom he was married 64 years. Born in Pottsville, PA on February 8, 1932, John was a son of the late Walter F. and Anna R. (nee Skutch) Yasembousky. A high school graduate, he served in the Army during the Korean War. John had owned a used auto parts yard in Morrisville, PA and worked for U.S. Steel Fairless Works, Fairless Hills, PA. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the American Legion in Fallsington, PA. John and his wife were foster parents. In addition to Kazuko, John is survived by grandson, Dennis Yasembousky and his significant other Melony of Mary D; granddaughter, April and her husband Javier Lafuente of Philadelphia, PA; great grandchildren, Gavin Yasembousky, Dylan Yasembousky, Paige Yasembousky, Brittney Castor, Zackary Denault, and Isabella Lafuente; sister, Diana Prosymchak of Mary D; and 8 nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son, Dennis Yasembousky and brother, Francis Yasembousky. Services will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 29 at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with Deacon Thomas Drogalis officiating.
